LCARS OS Development Blog

Got the initial software up and running on the development server. Using MediaWiki and all. Havn’t had too much time to change many of the pages around so ALOT of the default text is still there. Anyone interested can head to http://www.lcarsos.net/ . In the next few weeks I intend to get a bit more to get things going. Until then, good night all.

Well, what can I say? Several years ago I wanted to design and develop an OS like what was used on Star Trek. Technology has gotten to the point where something extremely similar can be built. This blog will mostly be here to spread word. The main site, which is still being developed, will be up soon and should provide the resources for a group to assist in designing and developing it.Hopefully something will become of this, if not. At least an attempt was made.
